The Benefits of Real-Time Driver Route Adjustments with Spedsta
In this tutorial, we’ll give you a quick overview of how our dashboard simplifies tracking and managing rides in real time. This feature is designed to help drivers, dispatchers, and administrators keep a close eye on ride progress and make efficient dispatch decisions. Click HERE for a video walk through.
Our dashboard displays real-time updates in three main stages:
- Start Ride: When the driver presses ‘Start Ride’, the dashboard signals their departure with a yellow indicator. This marks the beginning of the ride.
- Passenger On Board: Once the passenger is picked up, the dashboard updates to show ‘Passenger On Board’, also highlighted in yellow.
- End Ride: Completing the ride changes the dashboard status to show the ride as completed, allowing you to monitor the exact times of these events.
Additionally, our dashboard customization allows dispatchers to set alerts for upcoming rides that haven’t been assigned yet. By setting how many days in advance you receive warnings, you can ensure no ride goes unnoticed or unassigned.
For real-time GPS tracking, our system offers a ‘Member Map’ that shows the live location of drivers and passengers, enhancing safety and response capabilities.
These tools are not just functionalities; they are ways to streamline your operations and stay informed at every step.
