Navigating Spedsta’s Flexible Pricing Strategies for Transportation Services

Hello, in this video, I’ll show you how to set up a pricing profile for passengers or partner organizations. If you take payments from passengers, you can apply rate profiles based on the type of ride and its characteristics. Click HERE for a video walkthrough.

To access this feature, go to My SPEDSTA, click on Admin Tools, Account Settings, Ride Pricing, and then Create/Edit Profiles. This page will display all existing rate profiles. We’ll set up a community passenger profile.

There are three options: community passenger, specific passenger, or partner organization. We’ll create a community passenger profile. Name it something descriptive and set it as the default profile. For example, we’ll charge passengers a flat rate of $10.

You can also set different rates based on distance, time of day, or specific areas. Additionally, you can apply discounts, such as a scenario where a passenger is 50% reimbursed by an organization and pays the other 50% themselves.

Once the profile is saved, you can view all its characteristics. In another video, we’ll discuss how these profiles are applied to passengers’ rides and how to manage payments.
