How to Communicate Effectively with Spedsta’s Integrated Messaging Features

Hello, in this tutorial we’re going to talk about the messaging features of SPEDSTA. There are two main messaging features: direct messaging and in-ride communication.

First, let’s look at direct messaging. This feature allows you to directly communicate with your drivers, passengers, or dispatchers.

To send a direct message, you select the drivers you want to contact, type your message, and choose how you want it delivered—via email, SMS, or voice message. For example, you can send a message like, “There are some rides available, please check the dashboard.” This message will reach the drivers through the selected channels. You can verify that the message was sent by checking the email or SMS logs.

You can also send messages to passengers, partner organizations, or other dispatchers. For instance, if you need to remind a dispatcher about an upcoming shift, you can do it directly from this feature.

Another valuable aspect is our member insights. Using machine learning, we provide tips to better engage with your community. You can get insights on your best drivers and passengers, and send them personalized messages to keep them motivated.

The second feature is in-ride communication. When a ride is in progress, you can send messages to both the driver and the passenger. If a driver is running late, you can notify the passenger directly from the ride’s page. You can also get real-time data on the ride, such as the estimated time of arrival.
